About Me
Hi, I’m Crystal.
I’m a writer, storyteller, gym rat, question asker, pattern observer, and occasional troublemaker for comfortable ideas.
I write about the things most people avoid talking about.
The conversations that happen at 3 a.m.
The voice in your head that won’t shut up.
The addictions we hide behind.
The grief we carry.
The strange experiences we can’t explain.
The moments that break us.
The moments that rebuild us.
Most of my stories start with ordinary people facing extraordinary questions. Sometimes those questions involve food, addiction, loss, personal growth, spirituality, discipline, mindset, business, human behavior, or the uncomfortable truth that the person standing in our way is often ourselves.
I am fascinated by the human condition.
Why people do what they do.
Why they stay.
Why they leave.
Why they repeat the same patterns.
Why some people grow and others remain exactly where they started.
I don’t write from a pedestal.
I write from the trenches.
I’ve battled food addiction, weight struggles, grief, loss, self-doubt, health challenges, toxic relationships, financial setbacks, and the countless mistakes that come with being human.
I’ve buried people I loved.
I’ve rebuilt myself more times than I can count.
I’ve learned that growth is rarely pretty.
Transformation is usually ugly before it becomes beautiful.
You’ll find stories here that make you laugh.
Stories that make you uncomfortable.
Stories that make you question everything you thought you knew.
Some readers call my work motivational.
Others call it spiritual.
A few call it strange.
They’re probably all right.
I don’t claim to have all the answers.
I’m simply willing to ask the questions.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me in the gym before sunrise, reading something most people would consider unusual, chasing a new challenge, or trying to become a slightly better version of the person I was yesterday.
This blog exists for people who think differently.
The dreamers.
The builders.
The outsiders.
The high performers.
The weird ones.
The people who refuse to sleepwalk through life.
If that’s you, welcome.
Pull up a chair.
The conversation is just getting started.
